Dr. Greg Houtsma earned his bachelor's degree in honors biochemistry at Mt. Allison University in New Brunswick, Canada. After graduating, he entered Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He worked for several years in mixed animal practice, as well as practicing small animal emergency work in Illinois.
Immediately prior to coming to Warrensburg in 2004, Dr. Houtsma worked for 4 1/2 years at an exclusively equine practice. Dr. Houtsma is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practicioners, the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association and the West Central Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Rumbold received her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris degree from the University of Pennsylvania and prior to that received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from Cornell University.
Dr. Rumbold has been in practice since 1999. Her work includes five years as an associate veterinarian in Sedalia, as well as working at clinics in Alabama and Virginia, including time spent at an emergency clinic.
