Diagnostics
Warrensburg Animal Hospital has an in-house lab, complete with  CBC and Serum Chemistry machines to process bloodwork. We also have an electrocardiograph (ECG), an ultrasound, an endoscope and x-ray machine.

Photos at Left: An anesthetized cat undergoes an ECG. An ECG provides information on heart function, such as rate and rhythm and is useful in diagnosing problems with the heart.
Below: Dr. Houtsma uses the endoscope on a dog. The endoscope is useful for obtaining a view of the digestive tract of the dog. For example, it can be useful in diagnosing the cause of vomiting in an animal and can allow conditions such as ulcers to be diagnosed. It can also be used to retrieve some objects that an animal may have swallowed.
