Wellness Care
What's the most important thing to do to help your pet live a long, healthy life? Wellness care!
Welllness care is everything we do to our healthy pets to help keep them that way-vaccines, deworming, spaying/neutering, routine dental care, feeding a high-quality diet, etc.

To keep your pet healthy, routine visits to the veterinarian are essential-at least once a year and for some animals twice a year. This allows us to catch small problems before they become big problems!
Some things you can do to keep your pet healthy:

  1. Drop off a stool sample at the clinic to check for parasites.

  1. Feed an appropriate, life-style based food. Not sure what to feed? Stop in or call us to discuss your pet's needs. We'd be happy to analyze your pet's nutrition and send you with some free samples of food.

  1. Learn how to brush your pet's teeth-we can show you how!

  1. Be diligent about visiting the veterinarian at least once a year (even better, twice a year) for a thorough physical exam.

  1. Keep your pet on a year round flea/tick preventive. Tick borne illnesses are common in our area.

  1. Keep you pet on a year round heartworm preventive.
